HCS/HBs 128 & 340 - This act requires any state agency, public school, public institution of higher education, or political subdivision to use the traditional name of any holiday that such public body observes or recognizes. Such holidays include, but are not limited to, "New Year's Day", "Martin Luther King, Jr. Day", Lincoln's Birthday", Washington's Birthday", "Easter", "Truman Day", "Columbus Day", "Veterans Day", "Thanksgiving Day", "Hanukkah", "Christmas", and "Kwanzaa". This act also designates every December 25th to be known as "Christmas". JIM ERTLE
