HCS#2/HB 1472 - This act adds certain substances to the list of controlled substances. This act makes certain spice cannabinoids (commonly known as K2 or spice) and 5-MeO-DMT or 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine, its isomers, salts, and salts of isomers Schedule I controlled substances. Tapentadol and any material, compound, mixture, or preparation which contains any quantity of amyl nitrite or butyl nitrite are added as Schedule II controlled substances. Possession of spice cannabinoids shall be a Class C felony unless the person possesses 35 grams or less, in which case, it shall be a Class A misdemeanor.
This act also adds the following substances to the list of Schedule III controlled substances: 1) Boldione; 2) Dexoxymethyltestosterone, and 3) 19-nor-4,9(10)-androstadienedione. The substance Fospropofol is added to the list of Schedule IV. Lacosamide and Pregabalin are added to Schedule V.
This act contains an emergency clause.
