Current Bill Summary

HCS/SB 275 - This act requires a water supply district located in St. Charles County shall be regulated by the Public Service Commission for rates, charges, or other fees.

This provision is identical to a provision contained in the perfected HCS/HB 161 (2013) and the perfected HCS/HB 175 (2013).

Under current law, a customer of an electric company is not eligible to receive a monetary incentive offered by the company for an energy efficiency program if the customer has received a tax credit for low-income housing or historic preservation. This act makes an exception to this restriction for low-income customers.

This provision is identical to provision contained in the truly agreed and finally passed SS/SCS/HB 142 (2013).
