SCS/HB 1070 - The act establishes the Office of Military Advocate under the Department of Economic Development for the purposes of advocating for the military services in Missouri, creating a long-term plan on military sustainability, and fulfilling the mission of the Missouri Military Preparedness and Enhancement Commission. The Office shall be administered by the military advocate who shall report to the director of the Department and provide support and coordination to the Commission. The military advocate shall be appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate for a term of six years.JESSI BAKER
