Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 166 - This act states that certain records relating to critical infrastructure and protected systems, as such terms are defined in the act, that are provided to the Public Service Commission shall not be made available to the Office of the Public Counsel if doing so would threaten public health or safety, as determined by the Commission after consultation with the entity submitting the records. However, records related to critical infrastructure or protected systems may be released to the director of the Missouri Information Analysis Center or his or her designee.

Such records are also added to the list of records that may be closed under the Sunshine Law.

This act is similar to HB 482 (2019).
