SB 440 - This act requires the Children's Division to make diligent efforts to locate the adult siblings and parents of siblings of a child when seeking foster home placement with a relative of the child. Adult siblings or parents of siblings shall have preference for placement only after grandparent placement and above other blood or affinity relatives. This act is identical to provisions in the truly agreed to and finally passed CCS/SS/SCS/HCS/HB 397 (2019). SARAH HASKINS
