SB 53 - This act provides that a county treasurer may have access to documents in possession of county employees upon request when reviewing a warrant. Additionally, employees and officials of any county cannot deny a request from a county treasurer to examine documents necessary to perform their duties regarding salaries of county officials. Currently, members of county planning commission may be reimbursed up to $25 for the attendance at a meeting. This act increases the amount for attendance at a meeting to $35. This act contains provisions identical to SB 326 (2019) and is identical to provisions in HCS #2/SS/SB 704 (2018), and is similar to SB 1086 (2018). CHARLEY MERRIWEATHER
