SJR 29 - This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, provides that no person shall knowingly perform or induce an abortion upon a child, except in cases of medical emergency or as otherwise provided in the amendment, unless the attending physician has the informed written consent of the child and at least one parent or guardian, and the consenting parent or guardian has notified the other custodial parent in writing. No person shall intentionally cause, aid, or assist a child to obtain an abortion without the consent required under this section.SARAH HASKINS
