SB 296 - This act enacts "The Foreign Unmanned Aircraft Law", prohibiting public entities from acquiring or using small unmanned aircraft systems manufactured or assembled by certain foreign entities. The act also creates a grant program in which the Department of Public Safety will provide grants to public entities for the replacement of small unmanned aircraft systems not in compliance with the act.
