SB 128 - This act makes several changes to the requirement
for financial responsibility for motor vehicles. The changes
are: (1) proof of the financial responsibility at the time of
annual vehicle registration; (2) lowering of the reinstatement
fees for licenses to $20; (3) allowing any peace officer to check
for the insurance identification card; (4) closing a loophole for
out-of-state drivers; and (5) allowing 30 more days (for a total
of 120 days) for certain administrative hearing decisions.
