SB 243 - This act more narrowly defines the ability of the curators of the University of Missouri to establish office park projects for the purpose of research and development. The exemption from property taxes extends only to those projects which meet the research and development definitions and the expansion of business and professional opportunities goals. A subsection has been added to provide for the taxation of private enterprises that are doing business on land owned by the curators that is outside the scope of the university's educational mission.
