SB 308 - This act requires all pharmacists when filling
prescription orders to use generic drug products with the same
active chemical ingredients as the original drug product unless:
(1) the generic drug would not cost the patient less; (2) the
prescribing physician either verbally or on the written
prescription indicates to dispense as written; or (3) the patient
requests the prescription to be filled as written.
