Jefferson City — Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, is scheduled to host a Constituent Help Session designed to provide answers to important questions asked by citizens in St. Louis County, including topics covering Medicaid, driver’s licenses and veterans’ issues. The three-day session is set for early August and will be held at various locations throughout the district.
“I am proud to host this special event for the constituents in my district who deserve answers to their important questions,” said Sen. Chappelle-Nadal. “I want my constituents to know that even though lawmakers are not in session, I am still working on behalf of the citizens of the 14th District to provide them with information they need regarding every-day issues. And if you cannot make it to this event, citizens are always welcome to call my Senate office – I am here to serve you.”
The Constituent Help Session begins Friday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the William D. Tharpe Civic Center (8720 Jennings Station Rd., Jennings 63136). Then the session moves to Garrett Elementary Gymnasium (1400 Ville Rosa Lane, Hazelwood 63042) on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. The last day of the Constituent Help Session is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 4, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at University City Public Library (6701 Delmar Blvd., University City 63130).
These help sessions will include assistance from the members of the Missouri Department of Revenue, Department of Health and Senior Services, Department of Social Services, Department of Public Safety, and representatives from the St. Louis County Executive Office.
“It is time for answers. I hope to see you out in the district at this three-day event geared toward the hard-working citizens of the 14th District,” continued Sen. Chappelle-Nadal.
