Senator Curls Announces Transportation Event
Scheduled for Kansas City |
JEFFERSON CITY — The 9th District, represented in the Missouri Senate by Sen. Shalonn "Kiki" Curls, D-Kansas City, will host one of many statewide transportation events titled "On The Move" March 12-14, 2013. These meetings, put on by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) are scheduled over the next few months and will provide Missourians with MoDOT's long-term transportation plan through a series of listening sessions, a mobile tour and virtual forums.
"I'm excited to see Kansas City as one of the stops for these transportation meetings," said Sen. Curls. "I urge citizens in the Kansas City area to attend this important event and share how they see the future of our state's roads, bridges, railways, and waterways fits in with their day-to-day needs."
