Senator Keaveny Participates in Local Coffee Talk with Another St. Louis Area Lawmaker

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Joseph Keaveny, D-St. Louis, will join State Rep. Gina Mitten, D-St. Louis, at the Mid-County YMCA (1900 Urban Dr., Brentwood) on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, starting at 8 a.m. This legislative breakfast will give these Missouri officials and opportunity to update participants on current developments in Jefferson City and answer citizens’ questions pertaining to state government and issues within the St. Louis area.

“I look forward to any event in which I can meet with my constituents one-on-one and discuss issues that are important to them regarding our state and local communities, and I urge residents to attend this legislative breakfast,” said Sen. Keaveny.  “Citizens instill a great deal of trust in their elected officials.  Informing citizens about my work in Jefferson City and providing answers to crucial questions is one of the most important responsibilities as a legislator and perhaps my favorite role as state senator.”
