JEFFERSON CITY—State Sen. Paul LeVota, D-Independence, will host a town hall meeting at William Chrisman High School Library, 1223 North Noland Road in Independence on Thursday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. Independence City Councilman At-Large Chris Whiting will be joining Senator LeVota to discuss recent developments at the Missouri Capitol and City Hall. Both officials will answer questions from constituents. The event is open to the public.
“This meeting is an opportunity for our community to share their concerns with me regarding the 2013 legislative session and beyond,” said Sen. LeVota. “I encourage everyone who can to attend this event, whether you have a comment or a question.”
“I am happy to have an opportunity to speak directly to the public about the issues that affect our area,” added Councilman Whiting.
