JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. David Pearce, R-Warrensburg, sponsored a local resident for a board appointment before the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee recently. The senator spoke on behalf of Randy D. Warner as a member of the Missouri Propane Gas Commission
Randy D. Warner, of Kingsville, spent 13 years in the propane industry. He currently serves as vice president of safety for Ferrellgas Company in Liberty, Mo. He previously served as the vice chair of safety technical advisory committee of the Propane Education Research Council. If confirmed, his term will end in June 2016.
“Mr. Warner holds many accomplishments in his field,” Sen. Pearce said. “His commitment and enthusiasm for his work prove that his presence on the commission will only serve to continue to grow awareness and build a network of his peers.”
The Missouri Propane Gas Commission is responsible for making and enforcing regulations per general standards for development, construction and installation of equipment and activities such as storing, handling and transporting liquefied petroleum gases.
This sponsorship was heard before the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee on Jan. 30. An affirmative vote by the full Senate on Jan. 31 gave final confirmation to Mr. Warner’s appointment. For more information on Missouri’s boards and commissions, visit www.governor.mo.gov/boards. |
