City Capital Improvement Budget Project Ideas: Your Input is Needed

Now is your chance to get involved in your local government by providing your suggestions for next year's Kansas City capital improvement budget. A virtual town hall has been created for citizens to join the conversation regarding issues that impact our city, including flood control, storm damage, street resurfacing, bridge repairs, traffic signals and street lights, tree trimming and planting, community centers, as well as improvements to our parks, trails, ball fields and swimming pools.

Through KC Momentum, www.kcmomentum.org, you can view this list of important topics and choose your top three funding priorities. In addition, you can leave your comments regarding how the city can create more connected neighborhoods, best maintain its street and sewer system, create a more pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, efficiently use sidewalks and walkways, and provide input on which facilities, monuments or fountains need the most repairs.
