September 30 Deadline for Proof of Income Documents for ACA Coverage
Tuesday, Sept. 30, is the deadline for citizens who purchased insurance coverage through the Missouri Marketplace to submit documents verifying their income. If the documents are not submitted by the Sept. 30, help with monthly premiums, deductibles, copayments or coinsurance may change or end. It is incredibly important that those who use this valuable service provided by the ACA to submit their documents in a timely manner.
To submit documents, log into your Marketplace account, select the current application and click the “Application Details” for any inconsistencies in the application. Follow the steps for each inconsistency to upload the income documents to fix the issue.
Letters were sent to participants with reported data matching issues. If you have any questions, contact the Marketplace Call Center at (800) 318-2596. Inform the center you received a data matching warning notice. TTY users should call (855) 889-4325.
Health registration sites should also be able to help you get documents before the Sept. 30 deadline. For more information, visit www.healthcare.gov and enter your zip code to find the nearest location.
Open enrollment for insurance through the Missouri Marketplace begins on Nov. 15 for cover beginning on Jan. 1, 2015.
