Sen. Keaveny Joins Governor to Announce
Members of the Feguson Commission

JEFFERSON CITY—Senator Joseph Keaveny, D-St. Louis, joined the governor and other St. Louis area leaders to announce the names of those appointed to the Ferguson Commission at 2 p.m., today (Nov. 18), in the Missouri History Museum at 5700 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis.

“I am honored to have joined with area leaders to announce the members of the Ferguson Commission,” Sen. Keaveny said. “It is my hope that the formation of this committee and the work they are tasked with doing will help restore faith, peace and unity throughout the St. Louis region.”

The committee is being asked to examine concerns that include poverty, education, governance and law enforcement, and offer recommendations for making the St. Louis region an area that is stronger, more cohesive and safer than ever before.
