JEFFERSON CITY— Minority Party Leader Sen. Joseph Keaveny, D-St. Louis, will join with other St. Louis area leaders for Hear Our Voices Town Hall Forum, tomorrow, Thursday, October 8, for a conversation about mental illness in the St. Louis community.
The evening will include a discussion about how the Hear Our Voices schizophrenia simulation has changed the public’s perception of living with severe and persistent mental illness, specifically schizophrenia. There will also be a panel discussion regarding mental health within the community.

Joe Keaveny, D-St. Louis; Joe Yancey, executive director of Places for People; Dr. Collins Lewis, psychiatrist for Washington University; Officer Chris Koester, assistant crisis intervention team coordinator for the St. Louis County Police Department; and Ashlyn Brewer of Standing Partnership and the St. Louis Social Media Club.
