Why Podcast?

Pocasting allows digital-media formats to be syndicated, subscribed to, and downloaded automatically when new content is added.

Senate Communications offers Podcasting for many of its audio and video features. Podcasting is an Internet-based broadcast program that runs through websites such as iTunes to bring you regularly updated audio and video features with a simple click.

In addition to regular downloadable .mp3 format, Senate Communications offers the audio features This Week in the Missouri Senate, The Senate Minute, and audio from video programs Missouri Legislative Update and Capitol Dialogue. These informational program keep constituents up-to-date with current legislative news from any location.

So, how do you subscribe to a podcast?

Step 1: Right-click on the "Subscribe" button ()and choose "Copy shortcut;"
Step 2: Go to any audio site offering podcast subscriptions (we use iTunes) and click on Subscribe.

The program will load, which will allow you to listen. You may update the podcast from your iTunes or other browsers on a regular basis.
