SCS/SB 674 - This act classifies llamas as livestock rather than as exotic animals. The reclassification entitles farmers who raise llamas to the same regulations, promotions and sales tax exemptions for feed, machinery, medicines and fertilizers as farmers raising other kinds of conventional livestock.
This act is substantially similar to HB 1730 (2000).
