SB 800 - There are penalties under current law for knowingly
violating the campaign finance disclosure law (Chapter 130,
RSMo). This act includes violations that result from gross
negligence. The existing law makes a violation a Class A
misdemeanor and the violator is subject to a civil penalty of
double the amount of the violation up to $5,000.
