Current Bill Summary

SS/SB 850 - This act adds persons involved in physician health programs to the list of those who will not be liable for reporting information to the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.

Currently, Section 334.128 lists all persons who are exempt from liability for reporting information to the Board in the course of an investigation. New language adds physician health programs for impaired physicians and individuals involved with the physician health program to the list. No cause of action shall arise against him or her as a result of his or her conduct pursuant to this section.
