SB 854 - This act terminates the Certificate of Need (CON)
process for long-term care facilities. Portions of Sections
197.300 through 197.366 which deal with skilled nursing
facilities, intermediate care facilities, and residential care
facilities I and II are repealed. All of Sections 197.312,
197.314, 197.317, 197.318, and 197.367 have been repealed. The
portions of 197.300 through 197.366 dealing with CON for
hospitals remain in current law.
