SJR 54 - This resolution would submit a constitutional amendment which, if approved by Missouri voters, would reduce the maximum levy allowed to be levied by school districts without voter approval to $1.25 per $100 assessed valuation. Currently, Article X, Section 11(b) allows school districts to levy up to $2.75 per $100 assessed valuation without voter approval.
This resolution is similar to SJR 26.
