SCS HB 1185 -- CONVEYANCES IN COLE AND AUDRAIN COUNTIES

This bill authorizes the Governor to convey certain state
property located in Cole County to Jefferson City for the
purposes of street right of way, utilities, and a sanitary lift
station.

The bill also authorizes the Governor to convey certain property
utilized by the Missouri Veterans Home in Audrain County to the
Mexico Optimist Club.  The bill contains a reversionary clause
regarding this property.

This bill authorizes the Governor to convey certain property
located on the Lincoln University Green Berry Farm to Jefferson
City.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee
on Correctional and State Institutions by a vote of 15 to 0.

This bill authorizes the Governor to convey certain property
located on the Lincoln University Green Berry Farm to Jefferson
City.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that Jefferson City needs 1/2 an
acre to install a pump station.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
