SB 182 - This act requires run-off elections when no candidate receives more than fifty percent of the votes in either the primary or general election for any federal office, or for the following state offices: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Treasurer, State Auditor, State Senator, State Representative, and certain circuit judgeships. Immediately after the results of the election are announced, the Governor shall order a special election between the top two candidates for an office. The special election shall take place between fourteen and thirty days after the Governor orders the election.
