Committee Purpose: The purpose of the committee shall be to review the current tax code and seek ways to simplify the tax code, insure its fairness and lower taxes for Missouri citizens. The committee shall also examine existing tax credits, exemptions and economic development programs in an effort to insure the most efficient use of tax dollars and improve the state's economic development climate.
