SB 393 - This act creates the "Woman's Right To Know Act". "Emergency birth control" is defined as contraceptive methods that can be used by women within one hundred and twenty hours of intercourse to prevent pregnancy.
The Division of Maternal, Child, and Family Health is
responsible for raising public awareness and promoting counseling
and referrals for emergency birth control. The Division must
distribute information regarding the availability, safety, and
effectiveness of emergency birth control.
