SCS/SB 682 - This act requires the juvenile officer to
notify and report to the school district any violations of
compulsory school attendance when the only basis for action
involves an alleged violation of compulsory school attendance.
The school district must immediately refer all private,
parochial, or home school matters to the prosecuting attorney of
the county where the child legally resides. Public school
violations of compulsory school attendance may be referred by the
school district to the prosecuting attorney.
