SCR 18 - This resolution creates a joint interim committee
composed of seven members of the Senate, to be appointed by the
President Pro Tem of the Senate and seven members of the House of
Representatives, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of
Representatives. At least three members from each house shall be
from the minority party. The committee will conduct a study to
determine the feasibility of achieving the objectives of
decreasing health insurance costs to all state employees and
streamlining state medicaid programs to achieve cost savings.
