AN ACT

To amend chapter 104, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to public retirement systems.


Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 104, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 104.614, to read as follows:

104.614. Any member retired prior to July 1, 1990, shall, upon application to the board of trustees from which he or she is receiving retirement benefits, be made, constituted, appointed, and employed by the board as a special consultant on the problems of retirement, aging, and other state matters. As a special consultant pursuant to the provisions of this section, the retired member shall receive monthly an additional five dollars times the member's number of years of creditable service.
