SB 1154 - This act authorizes a dentist or dental hygienist
to delegate the removal of hard and soft deposits to a dental
assistant, provided the assistant has at least three years of
clinical experience and has completed required education. The
dental board has the authority to enact rules regulating the use
of dental assistants to remove hard and soft deposits.
