HCS/SB 769 - This act establishes a procedures for disincorporation of a road district in Jasper County. This act shall not apply to any road district which is located within two counties. A petition to disincorporate shall be signed the lesser of fifty or a majority of the voters within the district. If a petition is submitted and the county commission is of the opinion that it is in the best interest of the public to disincorporate, then such action shall be taken.
