SJR 16 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, would reduce the term of office for a supreme court judge from twelve years to five years. Further, in order for a supreme court judge to be retained, the judge must receive two-thirds of the public vote, rather than a simple majority of the vote.JIM ERTLE
