On January 3, 1945 Dan Clemens was born on the family farm in Webster County where he still resides. Dan has one daughter, Kim who resides with her husband, Chris in Springfield.
Dan was educated in the Marshfield school system where he was active in FFA. He has a masters in Agriculture from the University of Missouri- Columbia and was elected and served in the MU senate.
Dan owns and operates the third generation family 400 acre farm where he raises cattle and row crops.
Dan has been very active in community events. He has served as President of the Marshfield school board, Soil and Water Commission, and Agriculture Advisory Committee. He is actively involved in the James River Partnership as a farmer representative. He currently serves as a state corporate board member of the Missouri Farmer’s Association (MFA) and the Webster Electric Co-op Foundation Board. He is a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshfield and an avid sportsman and hunter.
