SB 867 - Under this act, when a regional recreational district is organized in only one county on land solely owned by the county, the governing body of the county shall have the exclusive control of the expenditures of money in the regional recreational fund. It shall also have control of the public parks, trails, and recreational facilities owned, maintained or managed by the county within the district. This act is similar to HB 1710 (2006).
