Current Bill Summary

SB 1105 - This act directs all releasing agencies to hold hunting dogs for a period of ten consecutive days without sterilizing them. Any agency that sterilizes such a dog before the ten day period expires knowing that the dog is one used for hunting, and being presented with the owner of the dog, shall be subject to a civil fine of no more than five hundred dollars per violation.

The act is similar to SB 711 (2006).
