Sen. Timothy Green, D-Spanish Lake, is announcing a series of five Town Hall meetings throughout the 13th district, each concentrating on state aid and services provided to his constituents.
“These Town Hall meetings are opportunities for me to listen to my constituents and for the public to learn about the various state services provided by their tax dollars,” said Sen. Green. “They will be a kind of ‘constituent services bazaar.’”
Representatives from the Missouri Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division, the Missouri Department of Mental Health (Bellefontaine meeting only for HAB Center update), the Missouri Department of Social Services, Missouri Department of Revenue and Missouri Public Service Commission, which regulates utilities, plan to attend.
“Constituents are encouraged to attend and voice their concerns and ideas,” said Sen. Green. “These town hall meetings will encourage discussion among a local audience, community leaders, and elected officials.”
Due to limited space at each location, the public is asked to attend the most convenient and closest location to their residence.
