HCS/SB 1135 - Currently, in a city with a population of 300,000 inhabitants any change in the grade of a street shall be declared necessary through a resolution passed by the city's two houses of legislation. Under this act, such change shall be declared necessary through a city ordinance.

This act is identical to HB 2047 (2008).
