HB 1946 - Under this act, the requirements regarding adoption subsidies that are granted to adoptive parents were modified. There will no longer be income restrictions on household incomes higher than 200% of the federal poverty level for subsidies that cover any physical or mental conditions of the adopted child. The one-year restriction on the granting of a subsidy is also repealed. ADRIANE CROUSE
