HCS/HB's 1549, 1771, 1395 & 2366 - This act allows the superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol to negotiate the terms of and enter into a memorandum of understanding with the federal government to train highway patrol members to enforce federal immigration laws.

Municipalities are barred from adopting sanctuary policies and shall be ineligible for state grants upon doing so.

Written driver's license tests shall be administered in English without translators.

The lawful presence of persons charged with a crime and confined to jail shall be verified by the arresting agency through a query to the Law Enforcement Support Center of the United States Department of Homeland Security.

The act establishes crimes relating to fraud and deception in the examination and application of instruction permits, driver's licenses and nondriver's licenses.

This act is similar to SBs 858, 750, 751, 927, 1186, 1255, 1268 & 1269 (2008).
