SB 998 - Section 494.425, RSMo, provides that a convicted felon is disqualified from serving as a juror, "unless his civil rights have been restored." Elsewhere in state law, all convicted felons are disqualified from jury service, without exception. This act deletes the quoted provision from Section 494.425, thus specifying that no convicted felon shall ever be qualified to serve as a juror. ALEXA PEARSON
