|
SCS/SB 61 - This act creates the "Comprehensive Tobacco Control Trust Fund," which shall be funded by monies received from the strategic contribution payments under the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement. The Commission for Comprehensive Tobacco Control is established in the Department of Health and Senior Services. The Commission shall fund evidence-based prevention and cessation programs designated by the Commission for comprehensive tobacco control. This act is similar to SB 843 (2008). ADRIANE CROUSE
