SB 287 – By January 1, 2010, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education must create a central repository of information for all school districts. The repository must provide public access to a comprehensive database of school district financial and policy information. School districts must annually provide the Department with compensation information for all school employees as described in the act. The Department must establish standards for school district budget formats. The Department may contract with one or more entities to create and maintain the repository.MICHAEL RUFF
