SCS/SB 782 - This act allows the Department of Revenue to send certain statutory notices by electronic mail if the recipient has provided his or her electronic mail address to the Department and has consented to the receipt of notifications through the electronic mail address provided. The act allows any person who has elected to receive electronic notifications to later request notifications to be received by regular mail This act has an effective date of January 1, 2011.STEPHEN WITTE
