SCS/HCS/HB 1831 – This act allows the school board of a school district that has acquired real property by donation, after ten years from the date of the donation, to sell the property as surplus provided the school board first offers to return the property to the previous owner. Should the previous owner refuse the return of the property, the school board may then sell the property as surplus. MICHAEL RUFF
