SCS/HCS/HB 2201 - This act renames the Missouri Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing and Residential Mortgage Brokers Licensing Act, the Missouri Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act. This act exempts certain financial institutions and entities that were exempt as defined in law prior to July 8, 2009 from the requirement that mortgage loan originators be licensed, from July 8, 2009 to June 1, 2010. Any of these exempt institutions or entities that were already licensed are not eligible for a refund of the licensing fees. This act has an emergency clause. EMILY KALMER
